Pilot terms
DeepBuild is an early-access service operated by its founders, Dev and Parmeet. We are not incorporated. These terms apply to your use of the pilot; “we” means the founders operating DeepBuild. Questions or requests: parmeetabbat@getdeepbuild.com.
Who the pilot is for
You must be at least 18 and use DeepBuild for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for your account and must have your organization’s permission to use its files. Accepting these terms does not give you authority you do not otherwise have to act for an organization.
Your files stay yours
You or the relevant rights holder keep ownership of uploaded material. You give us permission to store, process and display it, and to send selected material to disclosed service providers, only as needed to provide, secure and support DeepBuild. You must have the rights and permissions needed for that processing, including any required permission concerning other people’s personal information.
Start with public or synthetic documents. Before uploading sensitive personal information or confidential client material, contact us to agree the pilot’s data handling with your firm. Do not upload material subject to restrictions that DeepBuild or its providers cannot meet.
AI is an aid, not professional approval
Questions, selected PDF content and recent conversation context can be sent to Gemini. Answers, visual readings, calculations and citations can be incorrect or incomplete. Check important claims against the original documents. A citation does not prove that a claim is correct.
DeepBuild does not certify designs, detect every issue, establish code compliance or replace qualified engineering or other professional judgment. Do not use its output as the sole basis for construction, safety-critical decisions, regulatory approval or professional advice. The IFC viewer is not an AI engineering review.
Shared work and privacy
Your organization controls who can access shared projects and files. Chats are private to their author within the product, not inaccessible to authorized service operators or providers. Our Privacy policy explains data processing and your choices. Optional usage analytics are separate from accepting these terms and can be switched off in Settings.
Fair use and availability
Do not bypass permissions or safety controls, access someone else’s data without authorization, upload unlawful or malicious material, or abuse the service. Keep credentials secure and report suspected account misuse to us.
This pilot may change, have limits, experience outages or be discontinued. Keep your own originals and backups. We do not promise a service-level agreement, uninterrupted availability or a particular answer quality. Any paid arrangement must be separately agreed; accepting these terms does not authorize a charge.
Ending your participation
You may stop using the pilot, download accessible originals, delete your own chats or request account deletion in Settings. Shared records stay with the team, and the last owner must transfer ownership before deleting their account. Permanent file deletion is owner-only and is blocked while saved evidence depends on it. Contact us for requests involving shared records or other removal restrictions; do not assume every copy is immediately erased.
We may limit or suspend access for misuse, security risks or legal requirements. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and help arrange access to your data. Separate written pilot arrangements may set additional confidentiality, support and exit obligations.
Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the pilot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted service. To that same extent, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits and business interruption arising from use of the pilot.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, removes applicable privacy obligations or limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to waive. Human review and these terms do not eliminate our own legal responsibilities.
Changes and applicable law
Ontario law and applicable Canadian federal law govern these terms, subject to mandatory laws that apply to you. Material changes require a new acceptance before further uploads or questions. A separate written agreement expressly addressing the same subject takes priority where it conflicts with these pilot terms.
